When Wild Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to use When Wild. By using this service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.

2. Service Description

When Wild provides a video chat platform specifically designed for bird enrichment. With an active subscription, each registered bird receives a daily allocation of 5 minutes of video chat time.

3. Subscription and Payments

Access to When Wild requires an active subscription. We offer two subscription tiers:

• Monthly subscription: $12 per month
• Annual subscription: $120 per year

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations will be prorated based on usage. Upon cancellation, access to video chat features will immediately cease.

4. Video Chat Rules and Content

• Users may record sessions for personal use only
• Users must immediately report any violations of these terms
• Report violations to: [email protected]
• Users may leave any video session immediately if they feel uncomfortable
• The platform is strictly for bird enrichment purposes only

5. Privacy and Data Collection

We collect and process the following data:

• Registration information
• Bird profile data
• Platform usage analytics
• Optional research participation data (opt-in only)

Third-Party Services

We work with the following third-party services:

• Google Analytics for usage tracking
• Sendgrid for email communications
• Twilio for messaging services
• Stripe for payment processing
• AWS for cloud infrastructure
• Cloudflare for content delivery and security

6. Research Participation

Users may opt-in to participate in research studies that may include video recording analysis. By default, users are not enrolled in any research programs. Separate consent will be required for research participation.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including, without limitation, if you breach the Terms of Service.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time without notice. Your continued use of When Wild after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of such changes. It is your responsibility to check these Terms periodically for changes. If you do not agree with any modifications to these Terms, you must immediately stop using When Wild.
